• 

  Step 1

  To make satin ribbon roses it's better to use ribbons of 0.5 inch, 0.75 inch and 1 inch width. Ribbon with smaller width tend to keep the folds in shape.
  Take the satin ribbon and burn both ends using a lighter.

  Step 2

  Fold the ribbon into half and hold the center of the fold with your finger and rotate one strand of the ribbon to 90 degrees.

  Step 3

  I've marked both strands with the letters 'a' and 'b',
  Fold 'a' strand over the center, both strands will create another 90 degrees on the other side,
  Again, fold the 'b' starnd over the center,
  Keep repeating the steps until half an inch ribbon is left on either strand.

  Step 4

  After making the folds tightly hold both ends together and release the center. Carefully hold one strand tightly with the rest of the folds with one hand and hold the other loose end with the other hand.
  Carefully pull the loose end, this will bring all the folds together and form a rose-like pattern.
  While pulling the loose end make sure not to pull it too far or the folds will be undone. Pull until getting the right/perfect pattern for the rose and stop pulling when it reaches the perfect pattern.

  Step 5

  Notice the swirly pattern I've drew on the rose.
  Twist the rose to the direction shown on the swirl, which is outwards of the swirl.
  This way you'll get a perfect rose pattern.

  Step 6

  Now, use needle and thread for stithcing the ends of both strands together, make sure to stitch both ends together.

  Step 7

  Simply attach the satin rose on a blank ring using a small amount of hot glue or white glue.
  Allow the glue to dry for a while and the ring will be ready.
