Step 1Heat oven 175 degrees.
Base...
Cream together butter & sugar.

Step 2Add egg & vanilla.

Step 3Add flour & salt.

Step 4Press into a tray.
Bake for 20-25 mins.
Allow to cool.

Step 5Toast the coconut...
Place coconut on a tray.
Bake for 10-15 mins stirring throughout.
Set aside.

Step 6Melt together the caramels, milk & salt.

Step 7Stir in the coconut.

Step 8Spread over the base.
Allow to set.
Cut into squares.

Step 9Melt chocolate.
Dip base of cookies into chocolate.
Allow to set.

Step 10Drizzled the remaining chocolate over the top.

Step 11Serve.
