make these ornaments that can be made into a mobile - or Christmas tree decorations
These ornaments are so simple and fun, and a great thing to be crafting with children. My son, who's currently 2,5 years old, painted these and helped me glitter them.

Step 1
Roll out the salt dough and use the cookie cutters to punch out the shapes of the ornaments. Punch a small hole in each one, so that you can hang them when they’re done. Let the dough dry for several days. The thicker the ornaments are, the longer it takes to dry.

Step 2
Paint the ornaments with felt pens, crayons and/or craft paint. Let dry.

Step 3Spread a thin layer of glue on the surface of the ornaments, and pour glitter over it. Let it dry again. Brush off the glitter that hasn’t stuck to the glue, using a paper towel.

Step 4Now you’re done and can hang the ornaments in your Christmas tree - or why not hang them from a branch to create a mobile?
