You will need

White Fabric Thin navy blue Ribbons Sewing Machine Blue Thread White Thread Pins Scissors Paper for template

Instructions

1. 

   Lay the fabric flat and place the collar template on top.

2. 

   Pin the template in place and cut out, leaving a 1" excess around the sides.

3. 

   Fold the edges over by 1/2", then another 1/2", pin and sew in place with white thread.

4. 

   Pin a length of blue ribbon along the back of the collar, about 2" from the bottom.

5. 

   Stitch in place with blue thread.

6. 

   Pin a length of blue ribbon around the outside edge of the entire collar, about 1/2" in from the edge, leaving a long tail at either side so that you can tie a bow in the middle of the collar. Sew in place.

7. 

   Tie the two tails into a bow and your collar is ready to wear!
