Safe And Sound

A necklace inspired by many things
This was one of my favs!
I made a pierced piece out of nickle, cutting out the shapes of birds. Underneath, I used a piece of copper to create a visually appealing contrast. I loved my brainblast- using a lace doily and pressing it into the copper. This was so rad, it created a feathery pattern!
On the top I added a tiny birds nest- another of my little creations. It just goes to show how delicate life can be, and how wonderful it is to feel safe and sound!
