These were a bit harder to make. These are a Russian type of ornament that is usually made with paper. I decided to make them out of clear plastic lids I get from the grocery store to cover my salad from the salad bar. You need a spindle. I used toothpicks and pipe cleaners. You need some beads, glitter, glue, sequins and a hanger. You want to cut strips of plastic to size about 3-5 inches and 1/4 in - 1/8 inch strips. You need to put a hole in top and bottom using a pin make sure the hole is large enough to fit on your spindle about 1/4 down from top. I always painted the strips with glue and glittered and embellished before I put it together. Put the strips onto the spindle one side then start with the last strip first on the other side. using hot glue put on the beads at the end of the spindle to hold the strips on and lastly add your hanger. Enjoy!
