This skirt (and top you can see in one of the photographs) was a challenge set by Marisa (of New Dress a Day blog). We both sourced a thrifted dress for each other, and mailed them across the seas. (I'm in Melbourne, Australia and Marisa in LA)

Description

This skirt (and top you can see in one of the photographs) was a challenge set by Marisa (of New Dress a Day blog). We both sourced a thrifted dress for each other, and mailed them across the seas. (I'm in Melbourne, Australia and Marisa in LA)

Instructions

  1. After cutting the dress in half, I made the bottom half into a rah-rah skirt, with a flat front using interfacing and an elastic waist casing at the back. The top I pieced together using a Sorbetto sewing pattern.
