A spin on an old nemesis...
Growing up, we had two favorite afghans in my house. One made by my grandmother, one by my great grandmother...both ripple blankets, chevrons, zig-zags...whatever you know them as...

I've TRIED for years to make ripple blankets....and for YEARS have failed... The first rows were always wonky, and they were never wide enough.

So, I don't know why I thought I would try this. When I first tried a round ripple, I used a pattern I found somewhere...and later changed it a bit to suit me. Now they are favorites for using up scrap yarn.
