You Will Need (6 things)

  • Bottle
  • Plastic Jug
  • Spoon
  • Pan
  • Water
  • Rose Flowers Petal

Steps (5 steps, 15 minutes)

  1. 1

Before you begin, gather a bowl full of rose petals. Ideally you want to use fresh petals, but you may also use slightly wilted ones too. Prepare a small bottle to pour the final rose water in to.

  2. 2

Place a third of the petals in to a plastic jug, or double boiler and cover with a few tablespoons of water.

  3. 3

Bring a pan of water to the boil and place the jug of petals in to the water, making sure that it wont tip over in the water (you can also use a double boiler for this). Leave to boil.

  4. 4

After 20 minutes, remove the jug from the pan of boiling water. Carefully remove the petals from the water, squeezing out any juice left in them. The water should now be a dark red colour.

  5. 5

Repeat the previous steps twice more with the remaining petals. Leave the final mixture to cool and then place in bottle.

The water will be good to use for several weeks, use it as a toner in your daily beauty routine.
