Instructions

  1. Small 111983 2f2015 11 12 213631 1

After combing through the hair, pick up a section right behind the right ear, from the part down to the nape of the neck.

  2. Small 111983 2f2015 11 12 213635 2

Divide the section into two strands and twist the bottom section over the top section.

  3. Small 111983 2f2015 11 12 213641 3

Pick up a new strand of hair and combine it with one of the original two strands, then twist the strands around each other once more.

  4. Small 111983 2f2015 11 12 213645 4

Continue twisting the strands together, bringing in small sections of new hair with each twist. When all the hair is brought in, continue twisting the hair until you reach the ends and have made a full-length rope braid. Tie off the end of the braid with a clear elastic band.

  5. Small 111983 2f2015 11 12 213650 5

Wrap the rope braid into a low side bun, directly behind the left ear, at the nape of the neck. Pin down the bun with bobby pins, sliding them towards the center of the bun. Set the style with hairspray and smooth down any stray hairs. Updo Extras Be sure to spray the hair with hairspray and comb through it before each twist. This will ensure that the hair stays untangled and will look smooth and sleek in the end.
