Handmade from scrapbook paper and kraft board, decorated with broderie anglaise and lace ribbon and bound with a rose gold wire, this is a personal and intimate gift for a wedding or special anniversary. For each page, trim 2x pieces of scrapbook paper to these sizes: 25 x 25cm – 27.5 x 20cm – 20 x 20cm – 22.5 x 15cm – 15 x 15cm and 10 x 20cm. Start with the largest size.
Now, cut the kraft board. These pieces need to be half a centimetre larger than the scrapbook paper ones: 25.5 x 25.5cm – 28 x 20.5cm – 20.5 x 20.5cm – 23 x 15.5cm- 15.5 x 15.5cm and 10.5 x 20.5cm. The kraft board will form the base for each page.
Apply Distress Ink Walnut Stain to all of the edges of the scrapbook paper and kraft board.
Stick the scrapbook paper precisely in the centre of the kraft board on both sides, leaving a thin outer border.
Next, follow the Cinch instructions to make holes in the kraft board pages.
Follow the Cinch instructions to attach the metal binding wire.
The basic album is now complete. Decorate the pages to your liking.
Use the sticker book and collectables to add further embellishment to the album. Finish the album by tying ribbon to the binding wire.
