• 

  Step 1

  First things first, cut yourself 2 pieces of ribbon, the longer the better, these actually ended up being far too small to do anything with in the end...

• 

  Step 2

  And now you tie them together...

  Yup, that required a whole picture.

• 

  Step 3

  Now, form each piece of ribbon into a small loop at the top.

• 

  Step 4

  Gently slide one of the loops into the other.

• 

  Step 5

  Now gently tighten the top loop over the lower one.. Don't worry if this one doesn't turn out quite right, the first 'stitch' is always messy on mine.

• 

  Step 6

  Now pull the ribbon you just tightened back up into a loop next to the other.

• 

  Step 7

  Push that loop through the other and then tighten the upper loop.

• 

  Step 8

  Now do this over and over, alternating loops...

• 

  Step 9

  Pull the end of one of the ribbons through the final loop, tighten. Tie off and you're finished.
