Cut little petal shapes out of various colors of ribbon. Make sure to use any ribbon besides cotton ribbon (ie. polyester, organza, etc.) or it will not work in the next step.
Hold each petal over a candle flame, careful not to touch the ribbon to the flame. Let the edges melt and curl in slightly.
Gather a few of your newly formed petals and arrange them into a flower shape by sewing them into place.
Add beads to the center if you would like. That's all for these simple, ribbon flowers!
