Cast on 45 stiches onto an unmarked needle. K3 P3 for the first row. P3 K3 for the second row and keep alternating. You can switch colors to make a striped Harry Potter scarf or just make it one color. Keep knitting until it's as long as you want, then bind off keeping the same K3 P3 pattern.
