ch= chain stitch dc= double crochet
Gauge and finished size are not important. Sample is about 4 inches wide and 5 inches long

    Row 1: ch 3, 2 dc into 1st ch made, ch 3, turn.
    Row 2: dc into first stitch, dc into top of each dc across and make 2 dc into the top of the turning chain, ch 3, turn. ( 5 dc)
    Row 3: repeat row 2 ( 7 dc)
    Row 4: repeat row 2 ( 9 dc)
    Row 5: dc into first stitch, dc into top of each dc across with just 1 dc into the top of the turning chain, ch 3, turn.(10 dc)
    Row 6: repeat row 5 ( 11 dc)
    Row 7: repeat row 2 (13 dc)
    Row 8: repeat row 2 (15 dc)
    Row 9: repeat row 5 ( 16 dc)
    Row 10: repeat row 5 (17 dc)
    Row 11: repeat row 2 (19 dc)
    Fasten off and weave in ends.
