I hate throwing things away that appear to be useful so I had a few of these in a drawer and today I realized what I could be using them for. Sorry I didn't take photos of each step, but I don't think you really need them anyway.

Description

I hate throwing things away that appear to be useful so I had a few of these in a drawer and today I realized what I could be using them for. Sorry I didn't take photos of each step, but I don't think you really need them anyway.

Instructions

  1. Remove any stickers from the pots and wash them thoroughly, inside and out. I used a little coconut oil and an old toothbrush to get the sticky stuff off the bottom.

  2. Trace the lids onto the backside of the fabric you want to use. You could also use any type of paper you like, or paper napkins, or tissues...be creative. Cut out the circles. You probably want them to be slightly larger than the lid so that the edges will just wrap over the sides.

  3. Put a generous layer of Mod Podge on the lid, top and sides.

  4. Place your fabric circle on the top and cover it with another coat of Mod Podge. Make sure to get the edges covered well.

  5. Set the lids somewhere to dry and find little odds and ends to put in the pots. I am using mine for jewelry findings. One of mine is not clear but the others are and it makes it nice to be able to just turn them over to see what's inside.
