Hmm... I think salt will ever extract water from the air. Ô.o
It doesn't matter whether it´s baked or not.. Mine were baked well, too.

We've made salt dough christmas decorations at work in our craft group and some of them have lasted ages without going funny. I think part of the trick is making sure its baked all the way through and not making things to hefty. I also think vanishing makes a big difference.

Nice work ^^ but After a while salt dough will be get damaged by damp. -.- In my case it dosen´t took a long time - a few weeks i think
But I don´t know if acrylic-paint maybe can protect it.
Anyhow it´s better to invest in Fimo i think ^^
