You Will Need (1 thing)

  • 1 Bottle Caps

Steps (10 steps, 600 minutes)

  1. 1

First, you're gonna wanna wash your snapple caps, and dry them and all that. Now you're going to need a few paper towels, a small piece of mirror, and a hammer.

  2. 2

Next, take your towel and wrap it around your mirror. Then you need to lightly but forcefully hit it with the hammer. It makes it easier if you use the hammer at an angle.

  3. 3

Keep going and hitting it til you get the right pieces of broken mirror that you want.

  4. 4

Now put the broken mirror aside. For now, pick out your colors of nail polish you want to use. I'm gonna use Black, silver, white, gold, and sparkles.

  5. 5

What I like to do next is paint the bottom with black, so that way it covers up all the words and stuff at the bottom; but you can use a heavy white if you want. After this dries, drill a hole in the side, and put a finding in it. (small silver hoop to put a string through)

  6. 6

Next, paint splotches of different colors at the bottom. Make it messy, it doesn't have to be perfect. Just put colors all around, but leave a little bit of black showing.

  7. 7

Then, use some tweezers if you like to place the mirror pieces inside the cap. Put them all around it, and leave just a little bit of space between them. Make it look random. It looks best though if you find some round pieces and put them on the side to make a messy little circle, then fill it in with other pieces.

  8. 8

Get your resin. Mix half and half in the small cup with a popsicle stick.

  9. 9

Decorate your mirror cap with whatever you want. I just used a few small things I found. Use the stick to scoop the resin over your mirror cap.

  10. 10

And there you have it, the final product. It may differ from what you decorate yours with, but that's alright. Let it sit and dry for about 2 days and its all good :)
