If I was going to add stickers in the first layer and glitter for the background, would I put another resin layer to seal it up?

Which kind of resin are you using, because I have noticed that my epoxy resins projects are starting to turn kinda yellow.

I've made some stuff like this, i use ice trays and works fine. want 2 do a lot more experimenting though. Flowers do work through, think most things do, ive seen resin with bugs set in them 2 and all these things stay ok.

To make a hole in them I used a Dremel like tool. I bought a cheaper knock-off and it works great for poking a hole throught them.

Kelly K. I used a mold I bought at the craft store. I also bought all my supplies at the craft store, Michael's. I know Ben Franklin also carries the supplies, but no molds. You can order molds on the internet. But today I used rubber ice cube trays from the dollar store and they worked wonderfully!

They look wonderful. I've never used resin before so I have a question. Do they pop out ready to go, or do you have to sand them down? What kind of resin do you use for this? Something I can find at a craft store? Thanks in advance.

I'm not completely sure Julie. The coffee beans and candy sprinkles worked well for me. I think for flowers you have to coat them something like a shellac type spray and then encase them in resin. I'm not sure about other food items though, anyone?

That's really cool. Do you think that perishable items like food or flowers could stay in there?
