  Step 1

  First step is to protect any surrounding surfaces such as plastic, wood or fabric. This can be done by applying masking tape and paper.

  Step 2

  Next apply solvent to the surface of the sticker. You can use nail polish remover, lighter fluid, rubbing alcohol, olive oil or vegetable oil. This solvent will dissolve the glue and break its contact with the window. Use the solvent to soak a paper towel and rub it over the sticker until some of it has soaked into the sticker.

  Step 3

  Use a razor blade or scraper, preferably made from stainless steel as it is less likely to scratch the glass, to carefully remove the sticker.

  Step 4

  Starting at the corner of the sticker press the blade firmly against the glass and slide under the edge of the sticker. It should easily come away from the glass.
