Peanut butter works. It's true. I don't care what anyone says. (I argue with my mother-in-law about this ALL the time) When I was little, boys would put gum in my hair, I also know for a fact that it works to remove sticky tac too.
Just take some peanut butter (enough to cover the gummy area) and rub it in for a few minutes. Start working it out of your hair till its all gone, then wash and done! (Picture from toothpaste for dinner)
