This is a baked cheesecake, topped with frosting & peanut butter cups. You could serve with chocolate sauce.
This is a baked cheesecake, topped with frosting & peanut butter cups. You could serve with chocolate sauce.
Preheat oven 375/190 degrees. Crush biscuits to crumbs.
Add sugar & salt to biscuits crumbs.
Melt butter. Add to biscuit mixture & combine.
Press into tin. Bake for 7 mins.
Allow to cool. Increase oven to 400/200 degrees.
Beat cream cheese & sugar together until smooth.
Add flour & vanilla & combine.
Beat in the cream.
Add the egg yolks & eggs one at a time. Beat to Combine.
Sprinkle the reeses Pieces over the base.
Pour the cheesecake mixture on top of the base. Smooth the filling to the edge of the tin.
Place a tray with water on the bottom of the oven.
Place the cheesecake on the middle shelf bake for 12 mins at 400/200 degrees.
Reduce the oven to 225/110 degrees & cook for 45 mins until the cheesecake is set. Turn off the oven & leave the cheesecake in for approx 1 hr. Refrigerate overnight.
To make the topping... Combine cream cheese & butter. Beat til smooth.
Add the icing sugar, vanilla & Cocoa powder. Combine.
Slowly beat in the cream.
Spread the topping over the cold cheesecake.
Chop up the peanut butter cups. Top the cheesecake with the chopped peanut butter cups.
Serve.
