  • How to make a diffuser. Reed Diffuser | Air Freshener Diy - Step 1
    Step 1

    What you need:
    1 cup of water
1/4 cup liquor (I used Vodka)
    1 tsp honey (emulsifying agent!)
several drops of organic essential oil/ oils of your choice
    1 vase/bottle with small opening
10 wooden sticks/skewers long enough to stick out of your vase

So basically you pour all ingredients in a bowl and whisk it until you have an emulsion of the honey, the water, and the oils. The vodka will help to evaporate the fragrances.

Fill in the vase and add the wooden sticks. They will soak up the emulsion and slowly give it to the room.
I used a lavender-vanilla mix for the stair hall and a lemongrass-vanilla mix for the living room.
Next thing will be something with rosemary I guess.

In the beginning the emulsion will look milky but it´ll clear up
