Red Cut Crease Tutorial - Perfect for Valentines Day
I created this look for a dramatic Valentine's Day look, but it can definitely be used whenever. You could follow these steps with other colours as well, if you're not interested in red.
I used the following products:
- Sugarpill love+ single eyeshadow
- Violet Voss Flamingo palette
- Pixi Beauty Glossy Duo in "Delicate Dew"
- Benefit Cosmetics Bad Gal Bang mascara

Step 1Apply your eyeshadow primer (or concealer). DO not set it with any powder.

Step 2Pack a red eyeshadow into the crease area

Step 3Pack a pink eyeshadow just above the red you just placed.

Step 4Take an even lighter pink shadow on a fluffy brush and blend everything together.

Step 5Using a thin concealer brush and concealer, cut your crease (as pictured). Apply concealer all over your lid so you have a nice base for your next eyeshadow.

Step 6Apply a light pink metallic eyeshadow all over the lid.

Step 7Using a white eyeliner, do a winged eyeliner. This doesn't have to be super neat as you can clean it up with concealer.

Step 8Apply the eyeshadows you used earlier in an gradient on top of the white eyeliner.

Step 9Finish the rest of your makeup and then blend a red eyeshadow on the lower lash line. Apply highlighter, lashes, and mascara and you are all done!
