Having a great bag and saving the planet all in one!!
This started from an idea in my textiles class, recycling packaging and unwanted newspapers and magazine cut-outs to make products and fabric. We started off making bags from chocolate bar wrappers etc. when I thought, wouldn't it be great to make a bag made from your favourite magazines?! So I did! This particular bag was made specifically for my friend. I cut out as many pictures as possible and slid them into the plastic wallets and sewed around them. After that, I sewed all the wallets together to make a big piece of fabric, from which I made the bag! I used a tote bag as a template. Tah dah!! Reuse those unwanted magazines!! P.S. The straps aren't that short, they were just tucked behind the main part of the bag. Also, if you wish for me to make a how to on this, feel free to ask!
