Make a Crafty Gift In Minutes!
I found this tutorial on Livejournal, thought it was a great gift idea, and put my own spin on it by adding in scents.

I happened to have two scrap jean jacket sleeves laying around so I cut those into a rectangle, sewed into a small pillow shape, then turned inside out.

I bought some rice in bulk, very cheap at the market, and mixed it up in a plastic bag with lavender heads and dried chamomile that I picked up at a local tea shop (each cost only a dollar an ounce).

Next, I made a funnel out of paper, just wide enough to fit in the hole left open from turning the jean pillow inside out, and filled it with as much rice as I felt was enough, then stitched it shut.

The directions I wrote on the packages were to heat the rice pack in 60sec intervals until it reached the desired heat, but not to over heat or the rice may burn.

These smelled wonderful once they were done. :)
