  • Stanley Knife
  • Compass
  • Paper for template
  • Drill with a thin drill bit
  • Vinyl Record
  • Block of Wood for drilling
  • Back of a stand-up photo Frame

Steps (13 steps, 40 minutes)

  1. 1

For this project you'll need a vinyl record, the back part of a stand up photo frame and an awesome brooch for decoration.

  2. 2

Lay your record on top of a block of wood and drill holes through.

  3. 3

Drill groups of two holes spaced evenly around the record.

  4. 4

Measure the middle record label with a compass.

  5. 5

Draw a template of the record label on to paper.

  6. 6

Trace around the label on to the back of the frame, so that the hinge of the stand is in the middle.

  7. 7

Carefully cut around the circumference with a stanley knife.

  8. 8

Discard the rest of the frame.

  9. 9

Heat up your glue gun and have your stand and record at hand.

  10. 10

Cover the circle of the stand with hot glue gun.

  11. 11

Stick to the center of the record and leave to cool.

  12. 12

Glue your brooch to the front of the record.

  13. 13

Stand on your dressing table and organise your jewellery!
