Description

Rawr! I have leopard print crepe paper that i wanted to use and so i made these earrings!

Instructions

  1. Small sp a1604 1280860615

Gather your supplies. You will need: * Thick Cardboard * Round Object the size you want your earrings to be * Craft Glue * Pencil * Crepe Paper or any other not too thick paper (i used leopard print crepe paper) * Hole Punch * Mod Podge (optional)

  2. Small sp a1605 1280860774

Take your round object (tape roll in my case) and trace onto thick cardboard twice. Cut out these two circles.

  3. Small sp a1606 1280860869

Then grab your round object again and trace onto paper of your choice four times. Make sure you make two of the circles bigger, but also make sure the smaller circles are drawn in the middle of them.

  4. Small sp a1607 1280861057

Also cut out these circles. Clip around the edges of the bigger circles.

  5. Small sp a1610 1280861128

Then place some craft glue on top of the cardboard circle with paintbrush and place it in the middle of the bigger paper circle. Place glue in a very thin layer.

  6. Small sp a1612 1280861229

Then place some glue around the edges of the circle and fold the clipped paper around them.

  7. Small sp a1613 1280861332

Then place some more glue in the middle and over the edges again.

  8. Small sp a1615 1280861392

And place the smallest circle over the glue. You can cover them with mod podge to make them shiny but this is just optional.

  9. Small sp a1616 1280861440

Wait a moment until the glue dries and then punch holes at the edge of the circle (i made holes before glueing and i had to punch them out again so do this after glueing). Add earring hooks and wear them! Or don't make any holes at all and glue studs on the back. ;)
