Description

Made with whole foods, these raw brownies are naturally sweetened, rich, chewy, & filled with chocolate flavor. No baking required

Instructions

  1. Small raw walnut brownies 14 1 650x

Place pecans in food processor and blend on high until they're finely ground, but not enough that they're beginning to turn into butter Add the cacao powder and salt. Pulse a 3 or 4 times to combine. Add the almond butter, pulse 3 or 4 times more to combine

  2. Small mornings 1 650x

Add the dates .. one at a time through the feed tube of the food processor, while it is running. (** Note, I found when I added too many at a time, my food processor had a hard time keeping up) After processing, the brownie mix should resemble cake crumbs, that when pressed, will easily stick together. If your mix won't stick together, add a couple of more dates

  3. Small raw walnut brownies 16 2 650x

In a large bowl walnut-cacao mix, along with the chopped walnuts. Press into a lined vessel. (I used one that was a little less than an 8x8" square) Top with a few more chopped walnuts Place in freezer or fridge until ready to serve. The cold also helps make them easier to cut Store in the fridge in an airtight container. (They also freeze well)
