you make me happy when skies are grey
I love rain, celebrate it in fact, which is perhaps as well as I live in a very grey, wet town.
I bought a necklace that came with a long chain I had no use for, so I cut it up to made this necklace. The cloud is shrink plastic, cut to shape, and with holes made with a hole punch. Once it's all been shrunk down in the oven, the holes are just the right size to put jump rings through to attached six strands of rain. The rest of the chain is used to hang the necklace. You could just make one central hole with a jumpring for your favourite chain. This is lovely to wear the the 'raindrops' move all the time and glisten.
The next one I make might have little bead raindrops on the end of the strands.
