Here's a quick and simple make that will brighten any space. All you'll need are very basic sewing skills, some coloured felt and a bit of ribbon. You could easily adapt this project to make an Ombre version (just use different shades of the same colour) or play around with the order of the colours for a different look.

Make yourself a heart template by folding a piece of paper in half, drawing half a heart along the fold and cutting it out (still folded.)
Use your template to cut out 2 heart shapes from each colour of felt.
Lay one set of hearts out along your work surface and lay the ribbon on top, making a line down the centres of the hearts.
Lay the second set of hearts on top, sandwiching the ribbon in place. Use pins to hold each set of hearts together along the ribbon.
On the top heart, fold the top of the ribbon into a hanging loop before placing the second heart on top and pinning in place.
Stitch all along the ribbon, through each set of hearts, using running stitch.
There's a video version of the tutorial available here:
Hang it up and admire your hard work!
