Make your gradient by painting your colours on a cosmetic sponge and dabbing/rolling across your nails.
Add a clear topcoat to help blend the colours
Sugar spinning: Pour some nail varnish onto a palette
Wait a while for it to go gunky. You can speed up the process by mixing and blowing on it.
Take a toothpick, dip it into the gunky varnish and drag the string across your nail. Don't let the toothpick touch your nail! That should be it :)
