• 

  Step 1

  First cut your pieces. For each burp cloth you will need:
  2 pieces 7" x 18
  4 pieces 3 1/2" x 18

  Note: Sew all seams with a 1/2 inch seam allowance.

  Lay out your two large pieces, wrong sides together. Then lay two small pieces, wrong sides together on top. Stitch along the long side.

  Place remaining two short pieces (wrong sides together) on the other side of the burp cloth. Stitch in place along the long side.

  Step 2

  Trim up the ends if they are uneven. Then stitch all the way around the burp cloth

  Step 3

  Clip the fabric all the way around each seam, with each snip being about 1/2 inch apart.

  Step 4

  Wash and dry to begin the fraying process.
