Get two shirts out of one!
The premise of this project is to start out with one large long sleeve shirt. To make the crop top, you simply cut the shirt shorter with it sweeping down so it's a little longer in the back than in the front. Cut the sleeves so they're a little longer so you can roll them up. Use some of the leftover t-shirt fabric to make a bias-tape like strip and handsew that onto the bottom.
Now, with the rest of the sleeves, part of the bottom of the long sleeve shirt, and a white t-shirt (that does fit you). Cut the sleeves and collar off the white shirt and cut it into a raglan shape. Cut the leftover sleeves from the long sleeve shirt (into a raglan shape) and attach them to the shirt part. Use a long, thin strip of the long sleeve shirt and attach that to the collar with machine and hand stitching. That's it!
