1. Choose a highlighting and contouring product. They can be powders or creams. Creams tend to look more natural, but both work the same. 2. The highlighter should be approximately 3 shades lighter than your skin tone and the contour 3 shades lighter. This can vary depending on how noticeable you want the effect to be.
3. Apply the dark contour shade below your cheekbones, on the sides of your nose, and on your temples. The aim is to create shadows and shape the face. 4. Apply the light highlight color to the high points of your face (where the light would naturally hit you): the bridge of the nose, the center of your forehead, your cupid's bow, and your undereye area.
5. Blend the harsh lines using your fingers or a makeup brush.
