I found this cute idea on a website and thought it would be fun and easy to make. I enjoy a good party but the inevitable event of mixing up drinks is not as much fun. Enjoy! Cute for a simple yet person gift idea. Everyone can use a set.

I found this cute idea on a website and thought it would be fun and easy to make. I enjoy a good party but the inevitable event of mixing up drinks is not as much fun. Enjoy! Cute for a simple yet person gift idea. Everyone can use a set.

Instructions

  1. Small img 0913 1325095652

Pick your pieces from an old puzzle you have laying around. Mine was an old dice puzzle that no one could do and keep their sanity. Try to pick pieces that are different.

  2. Small img 0916 1325095698

Paint each one with your base polish colour. Be sure to let them dry before handling them again so you don't get finger prints in them. I put two layers on plus I did the sides of the pieces. Give them time between coats to fully dry. This is very important.

Now you put your design on them. Do whatever you want to make them personal. I chose to do animal prints since I love them so much.

  4. Small img 0921 1325095740

Take a thumb tack and pop holes in a spot in each puzzle piece. Be careful not to hurt yourself! It's best to do this with the piece on a hard surface so you don't bend it by accident.

  5. Small img 0922 1325095774

Put a jump ring through each piece and close them off nice and tight. Then put an earring hoop through the jump ring. You can place your seed beads on at this point to give them a little something extra.

  6. Small img 0923 1325351095

Put one or two coats of Mod Podge on both sides and the edges to seal them from any moisture they may be exposed to.

And you're done! Be sure to give them lots of time to set and dry properly before using them.
