This is a step-by-step look at my Purple Winged Smokey Eye.
This is a step-by-step look at my Purple Winged Smokey Eye.
For the first step of this look I applied my ideal brow shape with a brow pencil. For this look I used Benefit Cosmetics brow pencil in no. 2 & The Brow Gal no. 3 'chocolate' brow pencil. I then applied Urban Decay Primer potion in 'eden' to the lid, and set that with MAC Cosmetics 'Brule'.
For the second step of this look I applied tape to the other area of my eye to create a barrier for the shadows; this helps me create a very clean and precise line for my wing. I then applied shadows from 'Keilidh Palette' from Inglot Ireland. I layered this colors to deepen the tones and applied them much higher above my crease since I will be covering the lid with a gel liner. . I then applied NARS 'coeur battant' blush to create a more vibrant pink in the crease.
For the third step of this look I applied the black shade from the Keilidh palette all over the lid.
For the fourth step of this look I applied Inglot no. 77 gel liner all over the lid. This will act as my base for the shimmer shadows and pigments that I will be applying on top.
For the fifth step of this look I applied Inglot 51 and 53 body sparkles to the lid. To create the metallic finish for this product, I sprayed the pigments with MAC Cosmetics Fix Plus spray. I also applied Johnny Concert Cosmetics 'highest voltage' on the middle of the lid to create the vibrant purple.
For the sixth step of this look I applied Pat McGrath Labs 003 Iridescent Pink to my brow bone and the highest area of my crease color to create a highlight and diffuse any harsh lines.
For step seven of this look I removed the tape that I had on the outer area of my eye and used my Mac Studio Fix concealer in 'NC 15' to clean up any areas that are not straight. I also applied my Benefit 'They're Real' mascara and my false lashes from Polychrome Cosmetics in 'Wraith'. I then put MAC Cosmetics 'smolder' in the water line.
For the eighth step of this look I apply my NARS Sheer Glow foundation to even out my skin tone and cover any discoloration.
For the ninth step of the look I apply my darker shades from the Inglot palette to my under eye area and apply mascara on my bottom eye lashes. I then apply Urban Decay 'tonic' to my inner corner.
