The outer layer is a pretty patterned purple fabric that I got on sale. The lady in the store was so nice that I bought six meters. For this, I used about two. The layer underneath is on old, glossy sheet that is impossible to sleep on. And tricky to sew in too, but it's easier than sleeping in it so total win for this project. Under the skirt, I'm wearing my steel boned underskirt. If I wouldn't be wearing it, the skirt would lay flat. Plus it would go too far below my knees, which I don't think suits me. Thanks to my sister for taking the pictures.
