Punk Tied Tank

I think this was the first T I ever altered. I took an old T of my mom's that I loved, but was kind of baggy on me. I cut out the sleeves, then slit the shirt open all the way down the side, from bottom of the armpit to bottom hem. Then I cut about 3 inches into each of the new "sides", creating 2 inch wide fringes down each side. Then I pulled them together & tied. Did the same thing down the other side, under the armpit. Voila!
