It's so much easier to grab and go!
I had so much rubbish all piled up, out of sight, in a box lying flat that I forgot I had it! I was so sick of rumaging and the space my previous organiser took up (see pic in Step 1) so here's what I came up with.

The idea came from matchbox draws and other storage items I have on my chest of draws. I also managed to clear out some things I don't use anymore making more free space. It's so much easier to grab and go!

  • How to make a box. Product Organiser - Step 1
    Step 1

    Get an empty shoe box.

(Picture of my previous organiser; pretty but bulky!)

    Step 2

You can use the shoe box lid cut up or a second smaller box to create shelving.

    Step 3

Paint! Or cover with paper or fabric whatever you want. I went for a rustic/antique look. I just slapped the paint on!

I decided to use a small second box for shelving. Glueing or stapling the two cut up parts of the shoebox lid just didn't work.

    Step 4

The smaller box is removable for easy access. It also has two holes in the top for make up brushes.

    Organise your things...

    ...and here is mine finished.
