A Disney Princess themed tree for Christmas
Every year when I was little my mom would take my sister and I to the Hallmark to pick out one Keepsake ornament a piece. Over the years I accumulated a lot of Princesses and last year I decided to dedicate a 4 ft. tree to them. Instead of the traditional red and green I used pink and turquoise. I replaced the angel on top of the tree with Tinkerbell after considering different ways to mutilate a Barbie doll to get it to stay on top of the tree. I strapped Tink to the tree using a thin jewelry wire and made her a holly leaf and berries to wear in her hair. I used plain silver and pink balls of different sizes and cheap ornaments from Hobby Lobby that fit my theme, like a clock, a glass swan, and the butterflies to fill out my tree. I used the excess pink mesh as a tree skirt and tucked a book of fairy tales under there for good measure.
