Pretzels with salt & cinnamon topping

These are easy to make pretzels.
The dough lends itself to a sweet or savoury topping.
They are worth the effort if your a pretzel fan.

You Will Need (9 things)
- 4 cup Flour
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 3 tsp Yeast
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 1 1/2 cup Water Warm

Toppings
- Sea Salt
- Cinnamon Sugar
- Butter Melted
Steps (13 steps, 120 minutes)

Mix sugar, yeast & water together.
Set aside to ferment.

Add flour & salt to bowl.
Make a well in the centre.

Pour yeast mix into flour & knead together until a smooth dough is formed.

Cover with cling film & allow to prove for approx 40 mins.

When risen, remove & knead for a few mins.

Cut into small pieces.

Roll pieces into long lengths.

Twist dough into pretzel shapes.

Mix water & bicarbonate of soda together.

Dip each pretzel into water bath & place back onto baking sheet.
Pre Heat oven 220 degrees.

Sprinkle the salted pretzels with course salt & cook for 10 mins.
Leave the cinnamon pretzel without any topping for the moment.

Once cooked remove from oven & cool pretzels.

For cinnamon pretzel cook as before but when you remove them from the oven brush with melted butter & sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
