Description

I saw this mentioned in a blog and quite fancied buying one......then i saw the price!!! Yikes! it was a bit out of my price range so i thought i would have a go at making my own. I'll be honest and say i am pretty impressed with the results! Let me know what you think!

Instructions

  1. Small 1

All you need is a pair of sharp scissors and different shades of tissue paper

  2. Small 2

Fold your sheet of paper in half going from top to bottom

  3. Small 3

Then half again from left to right

  4. Small 5

Then fold again from left to right and make a crease at the top about 4cm's down. This will be your guide and show you where to stop cutting

  5. Small 6

Now going from the bottom toward the top make 0.5cm cuts up towards your crease.

  6. Small 7

Keep going and then unfold the tissue paper. It should look like this. Start rolling the centre up towards the top

  7. Small 9

Once its all rolled up, give it a few twists to secure.

  8. Small 8

Then fold in half so the two feathery ends meet and twist at the top to form a loop. This is where you will string it through your ribbon or thread

  9. Small 12

Now do a few more in different colours and string them up for all to admire! I left about 8-10 cm's between tassles. Pretty cute eh!
