We all know how annoying it is trying to remove liquid chalk from a blackboard. Despite being "wipe clean" there is always a shadow. This tutorial will show you how to create your own craft show signage which you can change with a wipe from a cloth.

Instructions

  1. Small 952b90a3ffce97e78e4413a0cfdd9a0c

Select your chosen text and trace it down with black marker pen onto tracing paper. There are lots of free fonts to download. Just search Pinterest for graphics pins.

  2. Small lettering 1

Once you are happy with the layout of your text tape it face down onto another piece of tracing paper. (Make sure it fits your picture frame).

  3. Small lettering 2

Clean the underside of the glass and fit it back into the picture frame. Lay it over your graphics and check that it is in the right position. Shake the liquid chalk pen well then trace the reversed text directly onto the glass. Rest your hand on a piece of cloth to stop any grease transferring onto your clean glass. If you make a mistake wipe the glass with a DRY cloth then carry on.

  4. Small roller

Paint the back board from the picture frame with two coats of matt paint in a pretty colour or blackboard paint. Using a paint roller will give it a smoother finish. Leave to dry.

  5. Small cupbaordy 260

Finally, carefully replace the backing board and pin the frame back together. Turn it round and clean the front of the glass. And that's it! Want to change the text? Take the frame apart, wipe clean with a dry cloth and start again. Simple! :)
