Sweet Lolita styled pink felt hat with flowers and ribbons. The hat measures about the height of a soda can and a little bigger than the circumference of a DVD. The structure is cardboard and poster board. The outside is made of felt and cotton fabric. Embellishments are a wired lace with a "fuzzy" edge, thin white ribbon, and flowers made of ribbon, pearls, and rhinestones. The final touch is an extra-long double-ribbon bow at the back of the hat. I haven't decided how I want to attach the hat, but the options are a hair comb sewn into the lace, a headband glued or wrapped to the bottom, or a set of hair clips affixed to the bottom. I'll probably go for the hair clips because it allows for more versatile positioning on the head. This hat is a complimentary accessory for Sweet Lolita outfits or can be cute for a party, wedding, or for childrens dress-up wardrobes.
