  • How to make a pin / slide. Pretty Bobby Pins - Step 1
    Step 1

    Fold up a piece of paper or take some cardboard and put the bobby pins on it.

    Make sure they're all facing the same way (you paint on the flat side)

    You can put a piece of double stick tape along the back of it to keep them from sliding on the paper.

    Paint 'em!

    It's better to just put the paint on really thick and waiting the extra drying time.

    I even did two coats on a bunch of these just to get the color I wanted.

    Just remember the thicker the paint the longer it takes to dry. But hey, at least you can open a can of soda while you wait this time.
