A Great Birthday Card Or Bookmark

About

This little idea is so cute and appreciated by all who receive it as a card or bookmark. Although it looks hard it is relatively easy to recreate ( A few tries are necessary) The worst part is waiting for the results it takes ages. Many of mine have gone wrong and this is one of the best so don't be disheartened if your first few go wrong.

You Will Need (5 things)

  • Sticky Back Plastic
  • Something Heavy Object
  • Pritt Stick
  • Flowers
  • Paper (the prettier the better)

Steps (8 steps, 90 minutes)

  1. 1

Pick some flowers and pull off their petals (Be careful you need the petals whole)

  2. 2

Arrange the petals in the picture you want
(Large petals work for the skirt whereas small petals work for the shirt and face) But you don't have to stick to this! I usually put a little flower growing next to the girl.

  3. 3

Stick the petals down to a piece of paper. This part is very fiddly !

  4. 4

Put the pice of paper under some heavy books. Make sure there is another piece of paper covering the top of the flower girl as otherwise some of her will get stuck to the book

  5. 5

Leave for two weeks at least (the longer the better!)

  6. 6

When done take the top piece of paper off very carefully! As the girl tends to stick to both sides

  7. 7

At this point, depending what you want to do with it, I would recommend you cover it in sticky back plastic. This makes it last longer as they are very delicate.

  8. 8

Give to someone as a card or bookmark. Or keep it for yourself!
