DIY letters for a nursery that are under $10!
There are plenty of beautiful nursery letters you can buy that are already painted. The problem: you’ll pay upwards of $10 per letter. I made a simple, DIY version with six letters all for under $10. You can make these so easily, even if your painting skills aren’t the best.

    Step 1

Gather your materials. I bought three different shades of paint for my letters. I found all six letters in a bin at Walmart for a little over $1/letter.

Paint each letter the main color. Use the “foam brush part” of the foam brush to paint each letter the main color you want it. Let it dry.
Then, paint each letter a second coat and let it dry.

Add the designs you like. You can use the end of the brush, the wooden circle part, and dot the paint to make polka dots and a heart, like I did.

I love getting two uses out of a foam paint brush!
