Polymer Clay Ear Gauges

May I ask what you use to seal them? I want to make them, and have no idea what to look for.

But yeah, uncoated, polymer clay can cause MASSIVE infection. Its porous, which makes it a breeding ground for bacteria, and the moisture from your skin happily provides that bacteria. It also means that the dead skin from your ears is absorbed into the gauges .. So no matter how many times you scrub your ears and no matter how thoroughly. Your gauges still stink to high heaven! D:

I made some tentacle ones that are 1/2 inch.. O-o I coated them with something my art teacher suggested.. And I love them to death!

Poly clay like this can actualy cause infections and can slowly deteriate the skin when placed in your stretched ears. Not the best material unfortunatly....

Nice, ive made these too. i should mention tho that these break easily, & u shouldnt wear them more then a few hours, as its unhygenic for your ears. & never in newly stretched ears.
