Description

String your polaroids using this fancy idea. No polaroid camera (or real polaroids) needed!

Instructions

  1. Download a software called polardroid which helps you to turn regular photos into fancy polaroids! http://www.poladroid.net/ Note: the software works for Mac users, too.

  2. Once you have the programme in your computer, start it up and use it to turn your photos into digital polaroids! (just follow the instructions) i use a mac. so i just had to drag and drop any image i wanted into the polardroid symbol to get it to work.

  3. About eight images should be enough. Although you can print more and swap it around every few days. (or make a REALLY long poliroid line)

  4. Use an image software to stitch two images side by side. I used GIMP. you just go to File>New and then type in the dimentions 2784 pixels by 1692 pixels. The you click file>Open as layers and open your first polaroid. then align it to the extreme right and do the same with your second polaroid to the extreme left. this part may need some technique.

  5. Once you have all your polaroids joined in pairs, use a photo printer to print them out on photo paper. the photos should be 4R in size. Those without photo printer can just go to the normal photo printing outlet to get them there.

  6. Small pola 2 1281851522

Cut each polaroid out away from its pair. You should get something like in the picture.

  7. Next, Cut some ribbon and blu-tac it to a wall. Using your wooden pegs, clip each polaroid onto the ribbon. TAA DAA!
